About the Role

We’re looking for a customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to lead our Setup team. As the Senior Product Manager for the Setup team, you will play a pivotal role in helping our users find value (and joy!) as quickly as possible in 1Password. You will lead the strategic vision, development, and execution of features related to Onboarding, Activation, and User Education.

You thrive in an environment requiring deep technical understanding of the foundational layers of products so that you can help the Engineering Managers deliver a delightful and engaging experience for our users. We’re looking for entrepreneurial problem solvers who come to the table not only identifying problems but also recommending and implementing solutions—without waiting for direction. Extra points if you have a customer-facing background in support, sales, user research, or customer success that led you into Product Management.

Responsibilities

Product Managers play a highly visible role in the company and are critical to the development and execution of our product strategy. As PMs, we are responsible for setting and championing the high bar for our products. You must excel at prioritization, collaboration, and communication, while holding yourself and others accountable for measuring quality and business results.

You will be responsible for defining and executing 1Password’s product portfolio strategy, focusing on all aspects of platform stability, quality, performance, and distribution. You need to be able to take a holistic view of a customers' needs that cross buyers, users, and administrators. You will work with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and GTM teams to ensure the quality, security, and usability of the service.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience owning a product or a set of features and being responsible for its ultimate success, with at least 4 years of SaaS experience.
  • Experience at a Cybersecurity company is an asset.
  • Track record of shipping and improving software and driving business impact through the features/products you owned.
  • Radical ownership of the problem space—you identify problems and make them go away.
  • Experience delivering technical solutions that serve as the foundation for customer-facing features.
  • A strong understanding of security, technology, and infrastructure trends that influence customers' need to integrate solutions.
  • Action bias—you don’t wait to create change.
  • Obsession with internal customer problems—you represent the voice of the customer to motivate the team.
  • Strong presentation and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that scale from technical to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to inspire and bring together teams and stakeholders to drive forward, solve problems, and remove roadblocks.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and use qualitative and quantitative data to drive decision-making.
  • Background and experience in user privacy, security, identity, and access management are a plus.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience training internal teams as part of bringing products to market, particularly sales, support, and customer success teams.
