We are hiring a Senior Front End Engineer to join our product engineering team. You’ll design, build, and implement software solutions that improve our platform’s value and customer impact. You’ll be empowered to contribute to technical strategy, work independently, and mentor other engineers—all in a collaborative, hybrid setting from Toronto.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement impactful software solutions for the Homebase platform.
  • Drive end-to-end web product engineering to deliver real customer value.
  • Influence the engineering strategy and software architecture through evaluation of technologies.
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Mentor junior software engineers and contribute to team development.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with React.js preferred.
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MVC software frameworks.
  • Proficient with Git, GitHub, and pull request workflows.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Able to evaluate languages and frameworks objectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Bonus Points: Experience with LLM-backed features, prompt engineering, or feature evaluation.
