Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Front-End Engineer who possesses exceptional taste and technical rigor to take ownership of our in-product user experience, marketing website, and landing pages as we scale.

You Will:

• Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, and Growth teams.
• Build performant, beautiful, and responsive websites and landing pages.
• Help develop and maintain Kick's design system.
• Implement creative animations and interactions in code.
• Work on special projects to enhance Kick’s brand visibility.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has 5+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on front-end development.
• Is highly familiar with React and TypeScript.
• Has a strong sense of user experience and can identify when something feels off.
• Pays close attention to detail, striving to provide users with a delightful experience.
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills and enjoys solving user problems.
• Maintains a collaborative mindset and is open to feedback and iterative processes.
• Can present a portfolio showcasing a range of technical skills and creative code use, including projects like Webflow, microsites, or WebGL.
• Communicates effectively, with at least a B2+ level of English for verbal interactions.

Bonus If You:

• Enjoy working in startups and have been part of a team during its growth phase.
• Have experience building your own startup or serving as a founding engineer.
• Are familiar with modern frontend libraries (e.g., TanStack Query v4).
• Have experience in SMB, SaaS, or fintech sectors.
