Ideal Candidate

We’re seeking a Front-End Engineer with exceptional taste and technical rigor to take ownership of our in-product user experience, marketing website, and landing pages as we scale.

You Will:

• Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, and Growth teams.
• Build performant, beautiful, and responsive websites and landing pages.
• Help develop and maintain Kick's design system.
• Implement creative animations and interactions in code.
• Work on special projects to elevate Kick’s brand presence.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has 5+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on front-end development.
• Is strongly familiar with React and TypeScript.
• Possesses a keen sense for great user experience and can identify when something feels off.
• Pays attention to detail and strives to provide users with a delightful experience.
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills and enjoys solving user problems.
• Maintains a collaborative mindset and is open to feedback and iterative processes.
• Can showcase a portfolio that demonstrates a range of technical skills, creative coding, and prototyping capabilities (e.g., Webflow, microsites, WebGL).

Bonus If You:

• Enjoy working in startups and have been part of a team during its growth stage.
• Have experience building your own startup or working as a founding engineer.
• Are familiar with modern frontend libraries (e.g., TanStack Query v4).
• Have experience in SMB, SaaS, or fintech sectors.
