Overview

We are hiring a Senior Data Scientist to join our team. Our Data Science team creates and maintains a diverse range of algorithms and models that power our marketplace. As a Data Scientist on the Retailer or Brand team, you'll tackle challenges such as optimizing freight costs, calculating credit limits, personalizing landing pages, and improving product listings using AI.

Responsibilities

• Build machine learning models to optimize shipping costs, predict retailer lifetime values, and more.
• Improve creditworthiness evaluations and set dynamic credit limits.
• Personalize landing pages for new retailers using NLP and AI techniques.
• Detect and resolve product listing issues using entity resolution and AI.
• Optimize new brand and retailer acquisition strategies.

Who You Are

• Hold an advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a relevant field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science).
• 3+ years of experience productionizing machine learning models.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, Kotlin, and SQL.
• Skilled in statistical techniques, experimentation, and causal inference.
• Excited about leveraging ML to tackle real-world problems.

Benefits & Perks

• Competitive salary ranging from $156,000 to $214,500 per year.

Office Policy

This role follows a hybrid model with in-office days on Tuesdays and Thursdays, effective January 2025.
